Mefjord Brygge offers special custom-made packages for more demanding guests who enjoy comfort and would like to try extraordinary experience of Big Boat Trophy Fishing.
Our VIP fully equipped 36 ft Big Boat is especially recommended for cod and halibut fishing.
At Mefjord Brygge, if you are in the right time, you can try catching some of these:
1) Skrei - up to 25-35 kg cod coming to Northern Norway from the Barents Sea during the period January – April)
2) Halibut - up to 50-70 kg throughout the year, with best times being May, August and September
3) Fjord cod, red fish, cat fish and a lot of other species throughout the fishing season from March till October

- Snacks, drinks and lunch on board to make your fishing experience more comfortable
- The boat has 2 decks, fully equipped living space and toilet
- It is possible to walk around the lower deck of the boat for better views
- Our restaurant offers local and traditional food a la carte.
- We also have special deluxe dishes on request, for example king crabs, lamb, duck, sea-food specialties and many more (on request)
- We can arrange helicopter airport transfers with sightseeing trips
- The big boat can be used for comfortable transfer between Mefjordvær and Tromsø
- We can arrange outdoor relax facilities, special events, Big Fish Trophy Fishing groups, VIP demands etc.

Arrival day. Arrival (or airport transfer) to Mefjord Brygge – welcome, check in and some practical information. If needed, we will provide required fishing equipment. In the evening we will invite our guests for a traditional north Norwegian dinner in our marine-style restaurant.
Fishing days. On each of the fishing days, either in the morning or in the afternoon, we will make a short briefing with the boat crew. Guests will get information about the day and prepare for another day of experience. We will go with Sargo Boat to the open sea, focus on fishing for cod/skrei or halibut, hoping for our team to catch their trophies! Fishing trip usually takes 6 hours.
Fishing days with extra activities. Our guests, besides fishing, can choose to use some of our services, such as outdoor hot-tub, sauna, guided mountain hikes, safari trips, bicycle rental, food in a restaurant, drink in a bar etc.
Departure day. Breakfast and departure (or transfer to the airport)

** Capacity: Boat is suitable for up to 12 persons and we recommend up to 4-6 persons fishing at the same time for most comfortable experience
* Our trips are either morning or afternoon (typically 9-15 and 16-22). We reserve the right to set the time of the trip for guests, unless it is definitely agreed in advance. Deluxe+ package includes for the guests the possibility to decide about the time of the tour.
