Most of our guests book their holidays a long time in advance, therefore we are not able to cancel bookings at short notice. For most of bookings no deposit is needed at the time when reservation is made.

Deposit may be needed for larger group bookings – the amount of deposit and payment terms will be agreed individually at the time when reservation is made.

To guarantee your reservation we expect full payment within:

• 3 months before the arrival date. Applies for photography, skiing, hiking and activity groups (7 or more participants) as well as all fishing tourists.
• 1 month before arrival for individual travelers (1 – 6 persons)
• Payment on the spot is possible only for short-stay accommodation after receiving credit card guarantee (agreed individually and with respect to our cancellation policy)
• If the booking is made after the required payment date, the full booking amount must be paid within 3 days after receiving confirmation
• Once a payment is made any changes to the reservation are allowed at the discretion of management

We reserve the right to cancel bookings which are not timely paid

We apply cancellation fees based on following schedule:

• Cancellations more than 91 before arrival date: deposit fee (for bookings with deposit applicable)
• Cancellations 31 – 90 days before arrival date: 50% fee (applies for group bookings)
• Cancellations 0-30 days before arrival date: 100% fee

The only exception to the above payment terms and cancellation fees is when:

1. Individual agreements have been made with Mefjord Brygge in advance (after written confirmation)
2. Reservation is booked via online channel or tour operator with agreed different cancellation policy

Check-out time: 10.00

Please follow these rules to avoid extra fees:

• Take out all garbage to the designated containers
• Load and start the dishwasher with all dirty kitchen items
• Leave the house or apartment tidy (additional cleaning costs NOK 1000,- or more)
• Return all key cards together — missing cards are charged NOK 100,- per card.
• You need to come to reception to check-out
• All our rooms and apartments are smoke-free and smoking will result in a strictly enforceable fine of minimum NOK 9000

• all our rooms are allergy-free and do not allow any pets to stay in any of the accommodation types
